 Dr. Elizabeth Stone
Dr. Stone was born in Pasadena, California and raised in Los Angeles County. She graduated from the California State University, Fullerton in 1982 with a degree in Business Administration. Dr. Stone worked as an electronic sales representative to the defense industry before beginning a new career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Stone attended the Registered Veterinary Technician Program at Mesa College graduating amoung the top in her class. After a rewarding career as an RVT Dr. Stone decided to further her career with animals graduating Magna Cum Laude from the University of Missouri- Columbia Veterinary School of Medicine in 2003. After graduation Dr. Stone practiced veterinary medicine in East County before becoming Dr. Kelly's partner at Coronado Veterinary Hospital in April of 2007. Dr. Stone is committed to constantly improving and providing state of the art and preventative medicine to the patients of C.V.H. She is also very active in supporting PAWS of Coronado and the Department of Animal Control to provide medical care and facillatate adoptions for rescue animals. Dr. Stone lives in Lakeside with her 4 horses, 6 cats, and her Blue-ticked Coon hound Magnolia. Two of her horses, Julia & Travis, are wild mustangs she adopted from the Bureau of Land Management. She successfully tamed and trained them and enjoys horseback riding in her spare time.
 Dr. Christy Walker
Dr. Walker is a born and raised San Diego native. She graduated from SDSU with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1998. She completed her veterinary education with Dr. Elizabeth Stone, at the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2003. Christy now lives in Escondido with her husband and 6 cats. They are looking at expanding their family to include golden retrievers in the near future. Christy enjoys playing tennis and spending time with friends and family when she is away from the office. Christy has enjoyed her time thus far at Coronado Veterinary Hospital, and looks forward to practicing medicine here for a long time.
